Wild Berry Bread Pudding is a warm, fruity comfort dessert featuring a sweet creamy twist with a blend of mixed berries and brioche bread.

  • 5 cups cubed day-old brioche or challah
  • 2 cups mixed berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the Vanilla Drizzle:
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Extra berries
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8″ baking dish. Layer cubed brioche and berries evenly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth. Pour over the bread and let soak for 10 minutes.
  3. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.
  4. While it bakes, mix sweetened condensed milk, cream, and vanilla in a small saucepan over low heat until warm and pourable.
  5. Let pudding cool slightly, then slice and drizzle generously. Garnish with more berries and mint.
