Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups almond milk
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: sliced bananas, fresh berries, Greek yogurt, chopped nuts, honey drizzle

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients (flour, turmeric, cinnamon, baking powder, salt) in a bowl.
  2. Whisk wet ingredients (eggs, almond milk, coconut oil, honey, vanilla) in another bowl.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently to form batter.
  4. Preheat waffle maker, grease lightly, and cook batter until golden brown.
  5. Serve with toppings of choice.
