A rich and ultra-moist triple chocolate loaf cake, drizzled with silky ganache, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (for ganache)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk sugars, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  5. Slowly pour in hot coffee and mix until smooth and glossy. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  7. Heat heavy cream until steaming. Pour over dark chocolate and let sit 2 minutes. Stir until silky.
  8. Pour ganache generously over cooled cake, letting it drip naturally.
  9. Melt white chocolate and drizzle on top. Finish with chopped chocolate pieces.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake — moisture is key.
  • Let cake cool fully before adding ganache.
  • Add a pinch of espresso powder for deeper flavor.
