Delicious toasted coconut pecan brownies that are rich, fudgy, and perfect for any dessert lover.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • Whole pecans for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips together in a saucepan or microwave until smooth. Cool slightly.
  3. Stir in sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla until glossy.
  4. Fold in flour, salt, and chopped pecans. Pour into pan and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top and gently press a whole pecan onto each square.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until center is just set and edges are slightly crisp.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Optional Add-ins: Add a tablespoon of espresso powder for richer chocolate flavor.
  • Swap pecans for walnuts, almonds, or macadamia nuts.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel before serving.
