Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey (for the glaze)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (for the glaze)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or to taste, for the glaze)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice (for the glaze)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (for the glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for the glaze)
  • Chopped parsley or green onion (for garnish)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dip in flour, then egg, then panko.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and fry salmon cubes until deeply golden and crunchy.
  3. In a small pan, combine honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick and sticky.
  4. Add crispy salmon to the glaze, gently tossing to coat.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley or green onions. Serve with rice, noodles, or enjoy as-is.
