  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (or whipped cream)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed cookies (vanilla wafers or golden Oreos)
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill while preparing filling.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix strawberries with jam. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Spread strawberry layer over chilled crust.
  5. Top with remaining whipped topping and smooth the surface.
  6. Sprinkle crushed cookies over top and add fresh strawberries.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
