- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries (for sauce)
- 2 tbsp sugar (for sauce)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (for sauce)

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 10×15 pan.
- Beat eggs and sugar for 5–6 minutes until thick.
- Add vanilla, then fold in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Turn the cake onto a sugared towel, peel off parchment, and roll gently. Let it cool.
- For the filling, whip cream with sugar and vanilla, then fold in chopped strawberries.
- For the strawberry sauce, simmer chopped berries, sugar, and lemon juice for 5 minutes, slightly mash, and cool.
- Unroll the cooled cake, spread the filling, and roll it back up.
- Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with strawberry sauce, and garnish with whole strawberries.
