Quick and easy heart-shaped strawberry cream cheese danishes, perfect for a romantic breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar or pink glaze drizzle

Instructions

  1. Roll out puff pastry and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make hearts.
  2. Blend cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon onto each heart.
  3. Spread strawberry jam over the cream cheese and layer with fresh sliced strawberries.
  4. Brush edges with egg wash and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 13–15 minutes until golden.
  5. Cool slightly and drizzle with glaze or dust with powdered sugar.
