1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp sriracha (optional)
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Season the shrimp with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until golden, then remove from the skillet.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes. Stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thickened.
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Adjust chili garlic sauce and sriracha for desired heat level.
