Delight your guests with these festive and savory Spinach & Cheese Puff Pastry Christmas Trees, perfect for holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta or shredded mozzarella
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Fresh rosemary (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make filling — Sauté garlic, add spinach, cook until wilted. Cool. Mix with ricotta + feta/mozzarella + pepper.
  2. Shape pastry — Roll pastry slightly, cut into long triangles. Add filling to half the triangles.
  3. Twist trees — Top filled triangles with the remaining triangles. Seal and twist tips to create tree spirals. Brush with egg. Add sesame.
  4. Bake — 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 min until puffed and golden.
  5. Serve — Add rosemary sprig for pine-tree effect.
