Spicy Shrimp Ramen is a flavor-packed comfort food that combines succulent shrimp, smoked sausage, and soft-boiled eggs in a spicy broth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles
  • 810 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
  • 45 baby potatoes, boiled
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust for heat)
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, boil the ramen noodles just until tender for a quick weeknight win. At the same time, boil baby potatoes until fork-tender.
  2. Toss shrimp in Cajun seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder. Sauté in butter or oil until juicy and golden.
  3. In the same pan, quickly brown the sliced sausage for crispy edges.
  4. In a pot, add chicken broth, soy sauce, onion powder, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Layer noodles first, then top with potatoes, shrimp, sausage, and soft-boiled eggs. Pour the spicy broth all over and garnish with chopped herbs.

Notes

  • Adjust chili flakes based on your heat preference.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bok choy for extra nutrition.
