Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 1-2 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Reduce heat, add butter and garlic to the pan. Stir constantly. Add red pepper flakes.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and toss everything to coat.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
