Creamy, spicy, cheesy and irresistibly satisfying Spicy Cajun Chicken served with linguine pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 300g linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Rub chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, pepper, and salt.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and chili flakes, mixing until sauce thickens.
  6. Toss cooked linguine into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for smooth texture.
  7. Top with sliced Cajun chicken and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot and creamy!

Notes

  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh garden salad.
  • Add grilled vegetables on the side for extra color and balance.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon over the top for a citrusy kick.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, creamiest sauce.
  • Don’t overcook the chicken — just until golden and juicy.
  • Adjust the heat with more or less Cajun seasoning and chili flakes.
