- 1 lb small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts or empanada dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Combine shrimp, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, Old Bay, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Cut dough into circles, spoon filling in the center, brush edges with egg, fold, and seal with a fork.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry puffs for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce.
