Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large buttery croissants
  • 1 lb small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and shrimp, cooking for 2–3 minutes until the shrimp are just pink.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, parsley, and cooked shrimp. Stir until smooth.
  3. Slice each croissant lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Spoon the shrimp mixture generously inside each one.
  4. Arrange the stuffed croissants on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until the filling is hot and bubbly and the croissants are crisp and golden.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh chives and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh croissants for the best texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Serve immediately for optimal crispiness.
