Buttery shrimp stuffed croissants make a delicious and elegant comfort food perfect for brunch or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh croissants (buttery & flaky)
  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayo (or Greek yogurt for a twist)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (plus extra for garnish)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Mix cream cheese, mayo, lemon juice, and chives in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Slice croissants open and lightly toast them.
  4. Fill each croissant with shrimp and creamy filling.
  5. Garnish with fresh chives and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a lighter option.
  • Fresh chives add a pop of color and flavor.
  • Best served immediately while warm.
