1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lobster tail (or ½ cup cooked lobster meat)
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ small onion, finely chopped
1½ cups heavy cream
½ cup seafood or chicken stock
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt & cracked black pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (plus more for garnish)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Crusty bread, for serving
Instructions
Sear the Seafood: In a skillet, melt butter and sear shrimp until pink and just cooked. Add chopped lobster meat and cook for 1–2 minutes more. Set aside.
Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, add a bit more butter if needed. Cook onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.
Build the Creamy Broth: Pour in cream and stock. Stir in paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
Add Seafood Back In: Return shrimp and lobster to the pan. Add parsley and lemon juice. Simmer 2 more minutes until everything’s heated through.
Serve & Savor: Ladle into bowls and garnish with extra parsley and cracked pepper. Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
