A rich and cheesy seafood dip perfect for parties, combining shrimp, crab meat, and a blend of cheeses for a flavorful appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped (plus a few whole for topping)
  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat (drained)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives (for garnish)
  • Baguette slices, crackers, or chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, garlic, Old Bay, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  3. Fold in chopped shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella, cheddar, and half the Parmesan.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining Parmesan and whole shrimp.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with chives and serve with bread or crackers.

Notes

  • Use fresh crab meat for the best flavor.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
