A crispy seafood twist on your favorite party snack, these Creamy Crab & Shrimp Taquitos are the ultimate easy seafood snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined & chopped
  • 1/2 cup lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Creamy Seafood Sauce (Optional but 🔥):

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped cooked shrimp or crab
  • Pinch of garlic powder & salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, shredded cheese, red onion, cilantro, and seasonings.
  2. Microwave tortillas in a damp paper towel for 20–30 seconds to make them pliable.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the filling onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down.
  4. Lightly spray with oil and bake at 425°F for 15–20 minutes until crispy and golden, or pan-fry for a crunchier texture.
  5. Mix up the creamy seafood sauce and drizzle over hot taquitos. Garnish with fresh herbs and lime wedges.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the tortillas are soft to prevent cracking.
  • This recipe can be customized with different seafood or spices as desired.
