Description

This Breakfast Shrimp Toast features a gourmet-style toast duo: scrambled egg and sausage on one slice, and creamy avocado with sautéed shrimp on the other. Perfect for brunch or a hearty morning start.


Ingredients

2 slices of thick-cut bread, toasted

2 eggs, scrambled

1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)

45 breakfast sausage links, sliced and browned

1 ripe avocado, mashed

68 shrimp, peeled and sautéed

Salt and black pepper to taste

Olive oil or butter for cooking

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Dried parsley for garnish


Instructions

1. Toast the bread until golden or pan-toast with butter.

2. Scramble eggs with butter, fold in cheese, season with salt and pepper.

3. Brown sausage slices in a skillet until crispy.

4. Mash avocado and season with salt, pepper, and optional lemon juice.

5. Sauté shrimp in oil with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until opaque.

6. Assemble one toast with scrambled eggs and sausage; the other with avocado mash and shrimp.

7. Sprinkle red pepper flakes and dried parsley over shrimp toast and serve warm.

Notes

Toast just before serving to avoid sogginess.

Use fresh shrimp and ripe avocado for best flavor.

Low heat is key for soft scrambled eggs.

Customize with bacon, smoked salmon, or poached egg if desired.
