Sweet and savory baked apples stuffed with feta, honey, and cranberries, a perfect holiday dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 large red apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji work great)
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 2 tbsp honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or mint (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Core apples and scoop out a bit of the center to create a cavity.
  2. In a bowl, mix feta, cranberries, nuts, honey, cinnamon, and olive oil.
  3. Spoon the filling generously into each apple.
  4. Place apples in a baking dish, add a splash of water to the pan, and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until soft but still holding shape.
  5. Drizzle with extra honey, sprinkle fresh herbs, and serve warm.
