500g ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup diced onion
1 egg
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk
Instructions
Mix beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, soy sauce, and garlic. Shape into 4 patties and sear both sides.
Cook onions in butter until golden. Add flour, whisk in broth, and add Worcestershire. Simmer to thicken.
Simmer patties in gravy for 10–15 minutes.
Boil potatoes until soft. Mash with butter and milk.
Plate mashed potatoes, top with steak, and pour over onion gravy.
