- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)
- 1½ cups fresh raspberries
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9” pan. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla until glossy.
- Let mixture cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the pan, gently press in half the raspberries. Add remaining batter on top, then scatter the rest of the berries.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is shiny and slightly crackly. Let cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- For an extra fudgy texture, do not overmix the batter.
- Ensure the brownies are completely cool before cutting to maintain their shape.
