Ingredients
Scale
1 wheel of Brie cheese (cut into 1.5” cubes or use mini brie rounds)
1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries, roughly chopped
2 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
1 egg, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup flour (for dredging)
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
Cut brie into small rounds or cubes, then chill them for 15 minutes to keep them firm.
Dredge each brie bite in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Fry until golden brown for a crispy texture.
Mix chopped pistachios, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl.
Once the brie is fried, roll or top each piece with the pistachio mixture.
Top each brie bite with chopped dried cranberries or cherries, then drizzle with honey.
Arrange on a wooden board, drizzle extra honey, and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
Notes
Chilling the brie bites before frying helps maintain their shape.
Feel free to substitute dried cranberries with cherries or other dried fruits.
These bites can be made ahead of time and fried just before serving.
