1 lb steak (thinly sliced)
1 tsp garlic salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 green bell pepper (sliced)
1 onion (sliced)
8–10 slices White American cheese
20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries (or any fries of your choice)
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2️⃣ Cook the Steak:
Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
Add the thinly sliced steak and season with garlic salt and black pepper.
Cook the steak, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables:
Reserve 1 tbsp of the liquid from the skillet and discard the rest.
Return the skillet to the stove and add the sliced green bell pepper and onion.
Sauté in the reserved liquid until the vegetables are tender but the peppers remain crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
4️⃣ Layer the Fries and Toppings:
Remove the skillet from heat and spread a layer of McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries in the skillet.
Place 4 slices of White American cheese over the fries.
Add a layer of the cooked steak and vegetables.
Repeat these layers, finishing with the remaining cheese slices on top.

Place the oven-safe skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
