Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack (or Mexican blend) cheese
  • 12 small flour tortillas (or street taco size)
  • Diced tomatoes, for garnish
  • Fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain grease, add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Press each into a muffin tin to form cups.
  3. Spoon taco meat evenly into each tortilla cup. Top with shredded cheeses.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is bubbly.
  5. Let cool slightly, then garnish with diced tomatoes and cilantro. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use street taco-sized tortillas for best results.
  • Customize toppings with sour cream, jalapeños, or hot sauce.
  • Great for parties or quick snacks.
