- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack (or Mexican blend) cheese
- 12 small flour tortillas (or street taco size)
- Diced tomatoes, for garnish
- Fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish
- Optional: sour cream, jalapeños, or hot sauce for serving
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain grease, add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Press each into a muffin tin to form cups.
- Spoon taco meat evenly into each tortilla cup. Top with shredded cheeses.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, then garnish with diced tomatoes and cilantro. Serve hot.

- Use street taco-sized tortillas for best results.
