Melty Chicken & Cheese Stuffed Flatbread is a golden, cheesy, crispy delight that is absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm milk (adjust as needed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (seasoned with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper)
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ teaspoon crushed chili (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add yogurt and oil. Gradually add warm milk until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Knead 10 minutes. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
  2. Sauté chopped onion in olive oil until soft. Add seasoned shredded chicken and green onion. Let cool, then mix in cheese.
  3. Divide dough into 4 balls. Roll each into a round. Spoon filling in center, fold over, and gently flatten.
  4. Cook on a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat, flipping until both sides are golden and cooked through.
