- 8 slices thick-cut bread
- 12 cooked Italian meatballs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded provolone or Parmesan
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Heat meatballs in marinara sauce until hot and coated.
- Butter one side of each bread slice. On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella, meatballs, marinara, and provolone. Top with another bread slice.
- Cook sandwiches in a skillet for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Flip carefully and cook until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 1–2 minutes, then slice and serve hot.
