Ingredients
Scale
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
4 brioche burger buns
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Green leaf lettuce
1 large tomato, sliced
Mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, then stir in the lobster meat, lemon juice, chives, parsley, salt, and pepper. Warm gently without overcooking.
Divide the beef into 4 equal portions. Place each ball onto a hot griddle or cast-iron skillet and smash thin. Season generously with salt and pepper, cooking until deeply caramelized before flipping. Top each patty with cheddar cheese.
Butter the cut sides of the brioche buns and toast until golden brown.
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun if desired, then layer lettuce, tomato, the cheesy smash burger, and a generous scoop of warm garlic butter lobster.
Finish with the top bun and serve immediately with crispy fries, onion rings, or coleslaw.
Notes
Use fresh lobster meat for the best flavor.
Toast the buns just before serving for maximum crispiness.
