An elegant surf-and-turf dish featuring lobster tails and seared scallops in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a romantic dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails, halved and cleaned
  • 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish
  • Optional: paprika or cayenne for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté garlic until golden.
  2. Season scallops with salt and pepper, then sear 2–3 minutes per side in hot butter.
  3. Add lobster tails to the pan, flesh side down, basting with garlic butter until opaque and slightly charred.
  4. Drizzle lemon juice over everything and sprinkle with parsley.
  5. Arrange scallops and lobster beautifully, drizzle extra butter sauce on top, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add paprika or cayenne to the garlic butter.
