Thick, bakery-style, ultra-soft loaded chocolate chip cookies that are indulgent and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • Mini Oreos
  • Caramel candies
  • Pretzels
  • White chocolate melts
  • Milk chocolate squares
  • Peanut butter chips
  • Colorful candy sprinkles
  • Mini candy-coated chocolates
  • Chopped nuts
  • Caramel drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (3–4 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Mix just until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop large dough balls (about 3 tablespoons each) onto tray. Slightly flatten.
  8. Press desired toppings into each cookie.
  9. Bake 10–13 minutes until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
  10. Let cool on tray 5–10 minutes before transferring.

Notes

  • Chill dough 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  • Don’t overbake — they continue cooking while cooling.
  • Press extra chocolate chips on top before baking.
  • Store in an airtight container up to 4 days.
