Lemon Glazed Cream Puffs are airy, zesty, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect desserts filled with a refreshing lemon cream and topped with a delightful lemon glaze.

Ingredients

  • 115 g unsalted butter
  • 240 ml water
  • 1 g salt
  • 125 g flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 120 g mascarpone
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 5 g lemon zest
  • 100 g powdered sugar (glaze)
  • 30 ml lemon juice + 15 ml milk

Instructions

  1. Make choux: boil butter, water, salt; stir in flour. Cool slightly, beat in eggs.
  2. Pipe on tray, bake 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden. Cool.
  3. Whip cream, fold with mascarpone, sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Fill puffs.
  4. Mix glaze, drizzle, and chill for 1 hour.

Notes

  • Keep pastry dry for best puff.
  • Fill just before serving.
