Ingredients
Scale
1 lb jumbo lump crab meat, picked over for shells
1 large egg, lightly beaten
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
2 tbsp melted butter
Lemon Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Mix the crab filling by gently combining mayonnaise, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, Parmesan, chives, and panko. Fold in crab meat carefully.
Shape into 6 round mounds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter and bake at 400°F for 18–22 minutes. Broil for 1–2 minutes for crispiness.
Prepare the lemon butter sauce by melting butter, cooking garlic briefly, then adding lemon juice and parsley.
Serve warm crab bombs with lemon butter drizzled on top or as a dipping sauce.
Notes
Handle crab meat gently to maintain large lump pieces.
Broiling adds extra crispiness if desired.
Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
