A heavenly dessert featuring warm, spiced baked pears topped with a crispy mixture and served with creamy vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Baked Pears:
    • 3 pears, halved and cored
    • 1 tbsp melted butter
    • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Crisp Topping:
    • 1/2 cup oats
    • 1/4 cup almond flour or flour
    • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
    • 3 tbsp melted butter
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • To Serve:
    • Vanilla ice cream
    • Caramel syrup (optional)
    • Cinnamon dust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pears in baking dish, brush with butter, drizzle syrup, sprinkle cinnamon.
  2. Mix oats, flour, nuts, sugar, nutmeg, butter, and vanilla until crumbly. Top pears.
  3. Bake for 25–30 mins until pears are soft and topping is golden.
  4. Plate with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle with caramel, sprinkle cinnamon.

Notes

  • Serve with hot herbal tea or cinnamon chai.
  • Use coconut oil + plant-based ice cream for a dairy-free version.
  • Use gluten-free oats if needed.
