Ingredients

Scale

1/2 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice), cut into bite-sized strips

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp garlic butter (or unsalted butter + 2 cloves minced garlic)

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tsp sesame oil

1 cup broccoli florets

1/2 red bell pepper, sliced

1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1/2 green bell pepper, sliced

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

Cooked jasmine or basmati rice, for serving

Instructions

1. Wash and slice all vegetables. Pat dry shrimp and steak strips using paper towels. Season both lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp garlic butter. Sear steak strips for about 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally until browned. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add another 1 tbsp garlic butter. Cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side, until pink and slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.

4. Add sesame oil to the skillet. Stir in broccoli and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.

5. Return steak and shrimp to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and red pepper flakes. Toss well to coat everything. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Notes

Shrimp cook quickly—avoid overcooking to keep them tender.

Let steak rest at room temperature before searing for best texture.

Use low-sodium sauces for a healthier option.

Great served over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
