Hot fudge brownie pudding cake is an irresistible treat with an ultra fudgy, molten center, drenched in a silky chocolate glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream (for the glaze)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for the glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for the glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until glossy and thick.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add milk and mix just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared dish and bake for 25–30 minutes. The center should remain slightly soft for a molten texture.
  7. For glaze, heat heavy cream until steaming. Pour over chocolate chips and butter. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and shiny.
  8. Pour warm hot fudge glaze generously over the baked brownie cake, letting it drip down the sides.

Notes

  • Serve warm for maximum gooeyness.
  • Add vanilla ice cream on top.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt for contrast.
  • Slightly underbake for a fudgier center.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
