  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  2. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  3. Scoop dough into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten slightly.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes. At the 8-minute mark, quickly press mini marshmallows and crushed graham crackers into the tops, then return to oven for 1–2 minutes more.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes on the tray, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy warm.
