  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Spoon over pears.
  3. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, basting halfway, until pears are tender.
  4. Sprinkle nuts over pears and bake 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve warm with yogurt or whipped cream and pan juices.
