Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds fresh peaches (peeled, pitted, and chopped)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pint half-and-half cream
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole milk (or as needed)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Peaches:

  1. Dice the peaches and mix them with the sugar in a bowl.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 10–15 minutes to allow the peaches to release their juices.

2️⃣ Mix the Base:

  1. In a separate large bowl, combine the half-and-half cream, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir in the peach and sugar mixture until well blended.

3️⃣ Prepare the Ice Cream Freezer:

  1. Pour the peach mixture into your ice cream freezer container.
  2. Add enough whole milk to reach the fill line on your ice cream freezer (approximately 2 cups).

4️⃣ Churn the Ice Cream:

  1. Assemble your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency.

5️⃣ Freeze to Firm Up:

  1. For a firmer texture, transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.

6️⃣ Serve and Enjoy:

  1. Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and garnish with fresh peach slices for an extra burst of flavor.
