Buttery, flaky, cloud-like creamy pastries bursting with fresh berries, perfect for romantic occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into heart shapes using a cutter.
  3. Place hearts on baking sheet. Lightly score a smaller heart inside each (don’t cut all the way through).
  4. Whisk egg with milk and brush edges.
  5. Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and deeply golden. Cool completely.
  6. Gently press down the center of each heart to create space for filling.
  7. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  8. Pipe whipped cream into the center.
  9. Top generously with raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.
  10. Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Keep puff pastry cold for best rise.
  • Don’t overwhip cream or it becomes grainy.
  • Brush edges lightly to keep layers defined and crisp.
