A delicious tropical dessert made with grilled caramelized pineapple served with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced into rings
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla ice cream (2–3 scoops)
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Brush mixture generously over pineapple slices.
  4. Grill pineapple 3–4 minutes per side until caramelized with char marks.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate while warm.
  6. Top grilled pineapple with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
  7. Drizzle with warm caramel sauce and garnish with mint.
  8. Serve immediately while ice cream slowly melts into the caramelized fruit.

  • Add toasted coconut flakes for crunch.
