Ingredients
Scale
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup sliced mushrooms
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
Boil fettuccine until al dente perfection—this is your easy dinner base that soaks up all that creamy magic. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet. Toss in shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and juicy.
In the same pan, melt remaining butter and add mushrooms. Cook until golden and tender.
Stir in garlic, sauté for 30 seconds, then pour in cream and chicken broth. Let it simmer gently, then add Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
Toss the pasta and shrimp into the skillet. Coat everything in that silky Alfredo sauce. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
For added heat, include crushed red pepper flakes.
Ensure shrimp are cooked just until pink to maintain tenderness.
Feel free to substitute fettuccine with your favorite pasta.
