Crispy, golden, savory and totally addictive garlic parmesan sweet potato fries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large sweet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for dip, optional)
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated (for dip, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (for dip, optional)
  • Salt to taste (for dip, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Soak cut sweet potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes (optional but helps crispiness). Drain and pat completely dry.
  3. Toss fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet without overcrowding.
  5. Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan and fresh parsley.
  7. For the dip, mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  8. Serve hot with garlic dip on the side.

Notes

  • Make sure fries are fully dry before baking.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure crisp edges.
