A juicy and flavorful garlic parmesan meatloaf that combines ground beef and pork, topped with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce. It is an easy comfort food dinner perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, milk, egg, onion, and seasonings in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  3. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40–45 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Melt butter in a pan, sauté garlic, then add cream and Parmesan. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the sauce over the meatloaf, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meatloaf mixture to keep it tender.
  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
