  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Oil for frying (or spray for baking/air frying)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • Extra Parmesan for topping
  • Ranch or garlic dip (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken tenders dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Prepare breading station: flour in one bowl, eggs in another, and mix panko, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each tender in flour, dip into egg, then coat thoroughly in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Fry in hot oil (175°C / 350°F) for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on rack.
  5. Oven option: Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Air fryer: 200°C (400°F) for 10–12 minutes.
  7. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush lightly over hot tenders.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
