- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak cubes (salt, pepper, paprika), and sear until golden brown on all sides.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Toss in shrimp and cook with garlic until just pink and cooked through.
- Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir everything together, letting the sauce coat the shrimp and steak.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top, plate it hot, and serve with rice, roasted veggies, or over pasta.
- For extra sizzle, place the skillet under a broiler for 2–3 minutes for a slightly charred, steakhouse-style crust.
Notes
- This dish is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and red pepper flakes to suit your taste.
