  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Sear in olive oil over high heat until browned.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and stir in minced garlic. Let it sizzle for a minute.
  4. Add flour to the garlic butter, cook for 1 minute, then whisk in milk. Stir until thickened, then add both cheeses and melt until smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and cheese sauce, then top with garlic butter steak. Sprinkle parsley and serve hot.
