1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Lemon slices for garnish
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: crusty bread or rice
Instructions
Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.
Stir in lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Toss everything in the buttery sauce.
Transfer to a serving dish, spoon extra sauce on top, and garnish with lemon slices. Serve with bread or rice.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
