  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
  4. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Splash in lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest over shrimp. Toss to coat in buttery sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
