  • 2 New England-style split-top buns or brioche hot dog buns
  • ½ lb cooked lobster meat (claw + tail), chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for heat
  • Melted butter for brushing buns

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Toss in lobster meat and warm it through.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, Old Bay, parsley, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using. Add in the sautéed lobster and stir.
  3. Brush buns with melted butter and toast them in a skillet until golden and crispy.
  4. Load each bun with a heaping pile of creamy lobster filling.
  5. Sprinkle with extra parsley or Old Bay. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For added heat, include a pinch of cayenne pepper.
